Your freezer has one cracked ice tray. It makes cubes that taste faintly of last week's leftovers, and half of them are welded together.
This makes 17 clear ice spheres in a sealed mould — so nothing gets in and nothing tastes of anything. Then you flip it upright, screw on the cap, and the same object becomes the bottle you carry out the door.
Fill, close the lid, lie it flat in the freezer. The mould seals completely, so the ice never picks up freezer smell — and spheres melt slower than cubes, so your drink stays cold without going watery.
Press the panel, the balls drop straight into the body. Screw on the spout cap, fill with water or juice, grab the handle. No decanting, no second container, no melted puddle in a cooler bag.
Three steps, start to drink
Against the tray in your freezer
| Normal tray | This | |
|---|---|---|
| Shape | Cubes, melt fast | Spheres, melt slow |
| Freezer smell | Open — absorbs it | Sealed |
| Getting ice out | Twist, crack, swear | One press |
| Taking it out | Needs a cooler bag | It is the bottle |
| Storage | Rigid, awkward | 5cm flat |
Braais and picnics. Ice and drinks in one hand instead of a cooler box for three bottles.
Whisky and cocktails. Spheres have less surface area than cubes, so they chill without watering the glass down.
Small freezers. Lies flat at 5cm and stacks under whatever's already in there.

Questions people ask
Do the ice balls actually come out easily?
Yes — that's the whole point of the design. The base panel flexes, so one press pops all 17 loose at once. No twisting, no running it under the tap, no hands on the ice.
Can I freeze juice or squash in it, not just water?
Yes. Juice, cooldrink, coffee for iced coffee, or water with fruit and herbs in it. Anything sugary takes a little longer to freeze solid.
Does it leak once the ice melts?
Not with the spout cap screwed down. Sit it upright in a bag rather than laying it on its side, the same as any bottle.
How do I clean it?
It comes apart, and it handles up to 100°C — so top rack of the dishwasher, or warm soapy water.
How much room does it take in the freezer?
It lies flat at 5cm — roughly the depth of a paperback — and other things stack on top of it.
Care
- Freeze flat, with the lid closed.
- Rinse before first use.
- Dishwasher safe — top rack.
- Don't fill past the line: water expands as it freezes.
